I have to apologise, but my blog schedule is all out of sync – I had Monday off work and now I don’t know what day it is!
It was my birthday over the weekend and I received some really lovely gifts; each one had been carefully decided upon and I was really thrilled. There were books, DVDs, vouchers and chocolate – all perfect in my opinion.
My other half also bought me a lovely, quirky brooch from Lisa Angel in Chapelfield. I have lusted after it for a while because it’s so different and fun. It’s a little gingerbread man, with green crystal eyes, and he’s so cute I could eat him.
He’s a wee bit fragile, so I will have to be careful, but I think it will be the perfect finishing touch to my outfit.
This isn’t my first gift from Lisa Angel actually. OH bought me a lovely necklace from there at Christmas too. Its beads are all glossy and colourful and look like sweets. It brightens up a black jumper no end!
I can’t help but look on the Lisa Angel stall every time I walk past – everything on there is so pretty!
