Pure Harmony Nails, Norwich

#Ad – Services provided by Pure Harmony in return for a review

I recently indulged in a manicure at Pure Harmony, nestled within Black & White Premium Barbers on Rupert Street in Norwich. Arielle at Pure Harmony offers gel nails, gel builder and nail art at a great price without compromising on quality.

Upon entering the barbers, Arielle greeted me with warmth, immediately putting me at ease. Her extensive selection of gel nail colours made me feel like a kid in a sweet shop and, after a brief chat about my nails, I eventually picked a wine colour I’d seen on her Instagram account.

Before getting into the manicure, I should probably start by saying that my nails were in a bit of a state.

I had gel polish applied a month ago and (don’t judge me) I picked it off.

As a result, my nails were quite short and the surface was bumpy and rough.

Luckily Arielle just laughed off my explanation and told me not to do it again!

She skillfully smoothed the surface of my nails before meticulously removing my cuticles, ensuring the perfect surface for the colour. My nails were then filed to the ‘squoval’ shape I prefer, although other options were available. She applied three layers of the deep-red D&D nail colour, along with a base and top coat, which completely revitalised my tired nails.

After a slick of cuticle oil and a generous application of delicious-smelling hand cream, I was ready to go.

In just 30 minutes, Arielle transformed my nails from lacklustre to lustrous, impressing me with her efficiency and expertise throughout.

Before I left, she also provided invaluable tips for maintaining nail health and extending the life of my manicure, including regular application of cuticle oil and hand cream. And, of course, not picking at the polish when it chips!

The cost for gel polish on natural nails at the time of writing is £24.

My verdict

While Pure Harmony may not boast a spa setting, Arielle provided a great, rapid service. And more importantly, my nails look great!
