Valentine’s Day in Norfolk

As you may have seen on Twitter yesterday morning, I have been struggling to come up with a Valentine’s Day related blog.

That’s mainly because i’m not a huge fan – on the whole I think it’s just an overrated excuse for card shops to sell rubbish to the gullible and restaurants to put up their prices (yes, i’m a cynic).

So it got me thinking about what I’d want to receive for Valentine’s Day, instead of just the usual junk covered in hearts. And I confess that it didn’t take long to decide!

I would rather like this dress from Poppy Valentine:

And a box of handmade chocolates from Caley’s wouldn’t go amiss either.

But seriously, I think it’s all a bit ridiculous and would rather make the effort all year round, rather than just once a year.

What are you doing this Valentine’s Day?

Lucy

Hi, I'm Lucy. I've lived in Norfolk since 2001 and in that time I've grown to love this fine county. From the city of Norwich, to the countryside villages and sweeping coastline, there's so much to explore and hope to share my experiences with you here.
