As I may have already mentioned, inNorfolk is a blog about all the lovely things I’ve spotted in a fine county, but some people might be wondering why I’m blogging.
Well, firstly Norfolk is my home and it’s a lovely place to live. I moved to Norwich when I was 16 and I can’t imagine living anywhere else; there’s so much going on, lots of places to visit and hundreds of lovely shops. All of which means, there’s a neverending supply of topics to write about.
Secondly, I have also become disillusioned with fashion magazines.
Obviously I understand why glossy mags focus their attention on the Big Smoke, but this gets frustrating if you live anywhere but London; the fashion articles, restaurant reviews and event information focus on a city 100 miles away. That’s why I’ve decided to write about Norfolk and Norwich. There are so many boutiques and independent retailers to be discovered, as well as events, that I’ve made it my duty to cover them.
As part of that, I’m open to suggestion. Is there an exciting new shop to visit? A product you want me to find? A restaurant reviewed? Email inNorfolk now and I’ll see what I can do.
