Girlie meet up at Strangers Cafe

Hot chocolate at Strangers Cafe

I’ve walked past Strangers Cafe in Norwich so many times over the years, but I have only managed to venture in there in recent weeks.

After wandering around the Norwich Lanes, I meandered down to Pottergate with my friends. Having been to Biddy’s rather a lot lately we decided to try Strangers Cafe and were pleasantly surprised with the discovery.

Small but perfectly formed

It’s only a small cafe, and there isn’t a great number of tables, but it’s cozy and friendly. Most of the tables are in the window, so you can watch the world go by as you talk. I do love people watching though, so I have to try to not get distracted!

After ordering a hot chocolate at the bar, we were told that the drinks would be brought over. They were brought over very quickly and the hot chocolate was steaming hot and really nicely finished. It was a really warm and welcoming place to spend half an hour. Next time I go, I will try the cake!

Lucy

Hi, I'm Lucy. I've lived in Norfolk since 2001 and in that time I've grown to love this fine county. From the city of Norwich, to the countryside villages and sweeping coastline, there's so much to explore and hope to share my experiences with you here.
