Norfolk, I need you

Where to begin?

Well, my life has changed considerably since February, with numerous dramatic events taking place in a relatively short space of time. Dealing with all of that has meant that inNorfolk has languished, leaving all my lovely readers and followers (possibly) wondering where I had got to. Sorry about that.

But now, as a newly single 20-something, I have returned looking for adventure, new experiences (within reason) and fun in Norfolk and Norwich. So, what do you all suggest?

If you have an event on, let me know and I’ll pop along. If you have a new store, I’ll stop by. If you’re running an exercise class, I’ll try to summon the energy to join in. And to say thank you, I’ll write a review telling my 1,000 or so followers how it went.

Here’s a few ideas I’ve had so far: I’ve thought about dance classes, but not sure what’s good and don’t have a partner; I’ve considered a language course, but my job means that I often have to work away; I’ve tried knitting but am all thumbs; wine tasting sounded fun, but I’m not sure how I’d get home; I might train for a 10k if I can just get motivated. I’ve also wondered about joining the WI, but don’t want to be surrounded by ladies my grandmother’s age. So Norfolk, what’s good? What’s happening and can I join in?

Leave me a comment and I’ll see what I can do…

Speak to you soon – I promise!

Hi, I'm Lucy. I've lived in Norfolk since 2001 and in that time I've grown to love this fine county. From the city of Norwich, to the countryside villages and sweeping coastline, there's so much to explore and hope to share my experiences with you here.
