Back in the day, when my blog was all shiney and new, I wrote a post about the men’s outfitter, Dogfish in Norwich. It’s taken me a while, but now I’ve finally gotten around to writing about its sister, Catfish.
Located on the corner of Exchange Street and Lobster Lane, it is now in the basement of Seven Wolves. It has been on the premises for years, but it has recently downsized and moved into the basement.
Stocking a range of high end lines, you can choose from the latest fashions including Diesel, Fred Perry and Obey women’s wear. Catfish also stocks Lyle and Scott polo shirts, which always wash up well and look smart.
If I won the Lottery
Unfortunately, the problem with so many luxury brands is that they can tend to be expensive, but that doesn’t prevent me from window shopping.
One of the highlights at Catfish is the collection of Vivienne Westwood; from Anglomania dresses and accessories to handbags and shoes, I could spend a fortune if I won the lottery.
Thankfully, they do stock the almost-affordable Melissa jelly shoes, which could be worn every day with all manner of outfits.
It’s sad that Catfish has had to downsize, but the range of stock is still wide and the shop assistants cannot be more helpful.
