A bit of everything at Norwich Market

I’ll be honest: I didn’t really like Norwich Market when I first moved to Norfolk. I found it to be claustrophobic, dark and dizziness-inducing – so generally a no-go area.

However, since then it has been refurbished and I’ve been converted; between them, the stalls seem to sell everything imaginable, from fresh fish and seafood, to cheese, spices and gift wrap.

My first foray into the market was the shoe repair and key cutting place near to the pub. They are so much cheaper than Timpsons for re-heeling and are much quicker too.

Since then I’ve been buying my wrapping paper, spices and random odds and ends there, because it’s so much cheaper than going to a shop.

I definitely recommend having a look around the market for bits and bobs – you’ll probably find what you want much cheaper.
